Digital Strategy Consultant

Happy Horizon helps organisations define how digital channels support business goals. In this role, you will lead discovery sessions, analyse market and customer data, and develop strategic recommendations for clients in the Netherlands and neighbouring markets.

You work on proposals, roadmaps, and business cases that connect brand, technology, data, and media. Projects may include digital transformation assessments, customer journey mapping, platform selection, or go-to-market planning. You collaborate with specialists in CRM, creative, and analytics to build coherent plans rather than isolated recommendations.

Although you can work remotely much of the time, you will travel to client sites and our Gennep office for workshops and team sessions. The role offers variety across industries and the chance to shape how we approach strategy engagements.

What you bring

• Six or more years in digital consulting, strategy, or account planning roles

• Experience structuring client workshops and translating outcomes into actionable plans

• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with research, dashboards, and market data

• Ability to write clear strategic documents and present to senior stakeholders

• Understanding of digital marketing, platforms, and common martech ecosystems

• Fluent English; Dutch proficiency strongly preferred for local client engagement

• University-level education in business, marketing, or a related discipline
