Junior Digital Content Strategist

Happy Horizon's Strategy team defines content direction for websites, campaigns, and always-on channels. This twelve-month role is suited to someone early in their career who wants structured mentorship while contributing to real client work from day one.

You will support content audits, tone-of-voice guidelines, editorial calendars, and briefing templates. Senior strategists involve you in client discovery sessions, competitor reviews, and content gap analyses. You will also coordinate with SEO specialists and copywriters to ensure plans are feasible and on brand.

We are a Limburg-based agency with colleagues across creative, media, and technology. Remote work is possible for this position, with occasional travel to Gennep for team days and client workshops. You will build a portfolio of structured strategy deliverables, not just slide decks.

What you bring

• Up to two years of experience in content, communications, marketing, or a related internship

• Clear writing samples and evidence of structured thinking: audits, briefs, or content plans

• Familiarity with content management workflows and basic SEO concepts

• Comfort using collaboration tools and presenting ideas in small group settings

• HBO education or equivalent; fluent Dutch and working English

• Curiosity about how content connects to conversion, CRM, and broader digital strategy
