Senior Frontend Developer

Happy Horizon builds digital products and platforms for clients across retail, healthcare, and public services. You will join our Technology team in Gennep, working alongside backend developers, UX designers, and solution architects on client delivery and internal tooling.

Your work spans component libraries, accessible interfaces, and performance-focused frontends in modern JavaScript frameworks. You will take ownership of technical decisions within your squad, review code, and help junior developers grow. Projects typically run in two-week sprints with clear milestones and regular client demos.

You will collaborate closely with designers to translate Figma specs into production-ready UI, and with strategists to ensure what we build supports measurable business goals. We value pragmatic engineering: shipping reliable work on schedule matters more than chasing every new framework.

• Five or more years of professional frontend development experience, including production React or Vue applications

• Strong command of TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and responsive layout patterns

• Experience with build tooling, CI pipelines, and automated testing for UI components

• Comfort working in agile squads and communicating technical trade-offs to non-developers

• Fluent Dutch or English; willingness to work from our Gennep office several days per week

• Bonus: experience with headless CMS integrations, accessibility audits, or design systems at scale
